Pastor Yorie Gipson’s remarkable journey has taken her from a troubled past to the pulpit, where she guides and inspires countless lives worldwide. With roles spanning Educator, Counselor, Motivational Speaker, Prophetess, and Life Coach, she focuses on holistic spiritual healing for individuals and families. Originating from Miami, she currently serves as the Senior Pastor of God’s Redeeming Temple International.
Yorie’s life took a profound turn in 1990 when she left behind seven years of involvement in drug dealing, responding to a powerful divine calling to serve the Lord in 2014. Her educational background and passion for youth led her to become a beloved third-grade educator and the founder of her 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, “Pushing Towards Excellence,” an annual book bag drive for underserved communities. Having previously served the community in a private capacity, Pastor G received public recognition when President Biden awarded her the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in February 2023.
As the owner of Simply One Communications, she empowers clients through counseling, offering services such as Individual, Pre-Marital, Adolescent, Marriage Counseling, and Life Coaching. Yorie’s deep connection with faith inspired her to write “My Quiet Time with God: 30 Daily Devotionals to Jump Start Your Day,” released in the Summer of 2023.
Family is central to Yorie’s life, with three children, with her youngest being Davana, known as “Pretty Vee,” a TV Personality and presently recognized on MTV’s Wild n Out. Pastor Gipson is committed to her faith and community, which extends into television, as she shares the gospel on the Now Network every Tuesday morning at 9 a.m., broadcasting to 56 million households.
